April 28 Workshop: Anxiety & Depression

April_28thWorkshopThursday, April 28
6:30pm – 8:30pm
ACT: 543 Yonge Street, 4th Floor, Room B

Young guys who like guys (i.e., guys who are gay, bi, queer, etc.) experience higher rates of depression and anxiety than their straight peers.  In response to this reality, OurSpace is hosting a workshop on anxiety and depression, facilitated by a registered social worker. If you or someone you care about experiences anxiety and depression, this workshop will provide you with information on some of the key aspects of these challenges. Keeping with OurSpace’s mandate, there will also be a peer support component to allow people to talk about their experiences with anxiety and depression in a safer and supportive environment. The peer support component will be used to generate ideas for future OurSpace peer support activities.
